A Life of Essence Series
An insight series into expressing who you are and living
that to your greatest ability.
It is an opportunity to dream so much bigger than
you have ever dreamt before. Discover what would
make your heart sing, what would cause you to
reflect back on your life when you are ready to pass
on and say “Yes, that was a life lived well”.
When you open your heart to your passions, you
are opening your heart to the universe, affirming
that you are ready. You have found that essential
part within you that is ready to step up, take action
and live with passion.
I support all of these methods and believe there
is credit in each of them, however, I also believe
that it is when we take a moment to stop and
ask ourselves the above questions that our
understanding of our true purpose begins to take
shape.
Ask yourself the following reflective questions:
What do I love doing that causes me joy and
delight?
Begin with the end in mind
Your Essential Self knows the way…
So often we find ourselves
confronted with decisions that
cause us to question whether
the decision we choose will be
the ‘right one’. This can apply
in every aspect of our lives; our
relationships, our career, with
our finances, even within our
spirituality.
This questioning causes not
only great stress in ourselves
and those around us but it also
impacts our ability to make any
decision, keeping us in a space of
fear and stagnation.
My hope is that this short series
will assist you in making those
decisions based on a deeper
understanding of your ultimate
vision and your passions.
It is through knowing our
outcome and embracing an
internal appreciation and
interaction with our essential self
that we will learn all the answers
we could possibly seek.

“Each indecision
brings its own delays
and days are lost
lamenting over lost
days… What you can
do or think you can do,
begin it. For boldness
has magic, power and
genius in it.”
Wolfgang von Goethe
When we know what our ultimate
outcome is, our journey and
the decisions we make all of a
sudden become so much easier.
We have guidance, a clear path
to follow, internal support and
we are coming from a space of
awareness, clarity and focus.
Having something to work
towards, knowing what it is
that we are striving to achieve
creates a sense of momentum
and where there is momentum
It is rare for our purpose to be delivered to us in
the form of a miraculous dream or for the heavens
to open up and angels to descend with a written
request from above. It would be wonderful for it
to be this easy but personally, I believe the act of
searching is much more rewarding and it is through
this searching that we gather more evidence,
experience and trust in ourselves.
Indulge your creative imagination for a
moment and ask yourself these questions:
Connecting with your essential self is
simple.
there is growth and development,
key requirements for us to live
fulfilling lives.
When do I feel most comfortable and confident
within myself?
Our ultimate outcome is our
purpose in life. Everyone has a
purpose. It’s whether you choose
to embrace that on a concsious
level and act upon it or allow it to
stay dormant within you.
When am I at my happiest?
There can only ever be something
positive to gain from bringing
our purpose into our conscious
awareness.
Positiivity that breeds
happiness and fulfillment.
Finding your passions is an
experience that is uniqely
individual and is a wonderful
opportunity to develop a
connection with your essential
self; that part of you that has your
highest intentions at heart and
believes in the true magnificence
that is you.
It is an opportunity to reflect on
what makes you happy, what
makes you excited, what makes
you love life.
When do I feel most at peace within myself?
It is within these times that you will find your
essential self.
When you are truly happy and living your life with
joy, gratitude and love, this is when your passions
become known to you.
It has been my experience that so often we feel an
expectation to identify our life purpose through
external means. We search through books, we seek
out mentors, we ask others what they believe our
purpose in life is.
If I had absolute trust and belief in myself, knowing
that I could not fail, what would I do?
Now take yourself out 5, 10, 20 years into your
future and answer this quvestion:
When I am living my i deal life I am:
The answers to these questions are your ultimate
passions. So don’t hold back, dream big, paint that
picture of absolute joy, radiance and delight. What
is it that you want out of this grand adventure that
we call life?
Do you want to travel the world?
Be the most creative parent you could possibly be?
Fund a trip for underpriviledged kids?
Start your own business?
What would make you leave this life knowing you
have committed yourself 100% to something you
have loved doing all your life?
So often we don’t give ourselves the opportunity
to dream big, to indulge our creativity and
imagination. Allow yourself that luxury now.
Dream Big. Dream Loud.
Dream with feeling.
Begin this journey with
your end in mind.
