knows. We always have access to these answers
but it’s taking the time to stop and listen. I believe
it’s in these moments of indulging our essential
selves in the glorious beauty of our sacred space
that we feel safe enough to delve deep, exposing
our inner longings and deepest needs, in a space
where they are held with such a deep respect that
the only thing we can do, is act on them.
for your soul
Creating a sacred space can be as simple as finding
a beautiful pebble on the beach and placing it
in your favourite place in your home, where the
sunshine dances across it and seems to extract the
most amazing colours and depth of detail.
For some people, it’s a long soak in a luxuriously
warm bathtub. Water is a conductor for creative
energy and relaxation. Add some essential
oils and the warm glow of candles casting
their shadows against the tiles and you have
someone’s perfect space.
Perhaps it’s in your morning walks, feeling the
breeze against your face, the cool air against
your skin.
For others it’s the feeling of expansiveness
that comes from sitting on the top of a cliff
overlooking miles of land below them. That
feeling of connection with nature and something
greater that expands and opens their chest in a
feeling of inspiration and appreciation.
Perhaps yours is a church with the stillness
providing an instant feeling of peace, safety and
sacredness.
A park bench perhaps, watching the wind breeze
through the trees, appreciating the bursts of
gold, orange and earthy browns that the autumn
leaves are sharing with the soft blanket of green
grass below.
Where is your safe haven? That place you go when you need to get
away from it all, the place that is your comfort, your bubble that
shields you from the rest of the world?
Do you have one?

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to find your
sacred space and allow yourself the time to ask
yourself the questions you long to have answered.
Your soul has the answers and is aching to share, if
you’ll just take the time to listen.
It is vitally important for us to have a space to call
our own. I believe that to be able to feel that sense
of peace and connection with ourselves is an
essential need for our awakening soul. It’s a space
that allows us to reflect, check in with ourselves, to
ask those questions that have true meaning. It’s a
time that allows our soul to search for the answers
that it aches for, that only our essential being
