Living at Keele Accommodation Guide 2016/17 | Page 26
Who looks
after halls?
Campus accommodation is managed and looked after by
University staff who, as part of the Keele community, have
students’ welfare and academic success at the heart of what
they do. We look after the cleaning, safety, maintenance and
welfare within the halls.
In addition, we work closely with the university’s residences
support team, security staff and the Students’ Union to make
sure you are fully supported 24/7 during your time in halls.
What if I have a
problem?
Don’t worry because there are plenty
of people on site to help get things
back on track…
Power cut at night? Ring our 24 hour
emergency line and we’ll quickly get
the right people out to your block.
Need to report damage? You can
report repairs needed online 24
hours a day. Staff will then prioritise
these during the working day.
Want to meet more people? Join the
Halls Life team who organise social
and sports activities in each hall.
Missing home? Chat to your Resident
Support Assistant. They live in the
blocks alongside other students
providing guidance and support
at evenings and weekends.
