Sport and leisure
Our well-equipped Sports Centre (which includes a 50 station
gym) and Athletics Union offer so many ways to get involved
in sport at Keele, whether you like competitive club sport
or simply leisure activities for fitness, fun and meeting
new people. With a range of indoor and outdoor facilities,
plus new running routes there are plenty of ways to keep
active on campus.
Beyond the campus walls there are
a whole range of sport and leisure
activities you can also get involved in.
Home to two league clubs, Stoke City
F.C. and Port Vale F.C. why not go
and lend your support from the
terraces while living at Keele?
Want to try out a few gyms before
you get a membership? Stoke-on-Trent
and Newcastle-under-Lyme have
a wide choice of gyms and leisure
centres to suit a range of budgets.

Fancy trying a new hobby or leisure
activity? In addition to Kilnworx and
Awesome Walls climbing centres,
Stoke-on-Trent is also home to
Fast Lane Karting, Stoke Ski Centre,
a range of golf clubs and a number
of pretty parks. There are also two
paintball venues, plus a speedway
stadium nearby.
