Non ho mai rinunciato. Se avessi comprato un Aston Martin al-
l’epoca avrei fatto un buon affare, come l’orologio che all’inizio non
volevo comprare perché costava troppo ma poi l’ho comprato.
Ho partecipato al Mercante in fiera a Parma, avevo portato i miei
cimeli da collezione, mi pagarono 6.000 euro, ne misi altri 4.000 e
comprai questo orologio.
L’episodio dell’asta notturna è stato clou e poi c’è stato un altro caso
dove gli ultimi mesi delle lire andai al mercatino di Novegro da In-
diana Jones del mercatino, presi in mano tremante per guardarla
una macchinina dentro la scatola sigillata e chiesi al venditore quanto
costava. Mi rispose 50.000 lire, ma avevo solo 38.000 lire e me la
vendette lo stesso.
