Gwenville Foster
Margorie Veath, from Milnes Walker Court,
Birmingham, celebrated her 100th birthday
this March with her friends and family.
A former infant school teacher, Margorie
is originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne.
She has two sons and a daughter.
Great grandmother, Gwenville Foster, from
Servite House, Kenilworth, marked her 104th
birthday at a special party organised by staff.
What’s the secret to a long and happy life? Gwen,
originally from Carmarthen, Wales, said: “It’s down
to three things – keeping active, positive and happy.”
Gill Shaw, Gwen’s daughter, added: “People
are always asking mum if she’s had a facelift
because she looks much younger than
she is – she hasn’t got any wrinkles.
“She’s never worn any makeup, just a bit
of moisturiser. She still looks incredibly
glamourous - especially when she wears
her favourite Chanel sunglasses.”
