DCOM SAAO has recently been combing efforts with their colleagues interested in other specializations to host hour long workshops featuring OMT in specialized fields. This January 12th, SAAO and the DCOM Pediatrics Club held a hands-on workshop featuring Dr. Ava Stanzack teaching OMT for children and infants. The best part is that the DCOM family brought in their own children for medical students to freely practice. In the month was an event dealing with OMT for psychiatric issues and in February SAAO will host a workshop covering OMT for ENT. It is a promising future at DCOM when the vision of hands-on healing can be integrated to the farthest niches of medical practice. ❉
