You stand tall and proud
with that smile
the one that speaks to me,
as if to say “I have seen the world. Joy is here, in this moment.”
Your hands have the power to heal
I have seen it
I have lived it
But, how many?
Hundreds? Thousands? Tens of thousands?
From newly born and newly awakened,
to those well-versed in this life
You smile at the world

For you are our mentor
