ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Artificial intelligence, the human like
intelligence of machines, is what
keeps our phones running and our
games exciting. It is defined as the
theory and development of computer
systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence,
such as visual perception, speech
recognition, decision-making and
translation between languages.
Surprisingly the concept of artificial
intelligence has been around since
ancient history. It is a part of the
Greek mythology of intelligent beings, or as we know them robots,
such as Talos, guardian of Crete the

Hephaetus to Minos. Interestingly
this links in with the ever popular
