COSPLAYER KHLOEE KEROSONEE COSPLAY COSPLAYER FROM AUSTRALIA We interviewed an Aussie cosplayer this month, Chloe, based in Sydney NSW. She’s only 18 and makes all her Cosplay costumes! Take a look... Hi Chloe, tell us abit about yourself.. My name is Chloe as you know, I’m a Christmas baby, 18 years young & I’m living it up in Sydney, NSW! How and when did you get into Cosplay? I first got into cosplay in 2012 at Sydney Supanova. A couple of my friends were going & it sounded like a lot of fun so I figured that I may as well give it a go & jump straight in, little did I know that I’d quickly fall in love with it. What do you think of the Cosplay scene in Australia? The cosplay scene in Australia is amazing! It’s grown so much in the past few years & I can’t wait to see how much it will continue to grow! Do you attend many Cosplay events? the lipstick colour right down to the eyebrow style. I attend almost all of the conventions in NSW such as Supanova & Smash. This year I’m hoping to start adventuring a bit more & go to some conventions in other states! How long does it usually take to get ready for a Cosplay event or photoshoot? Who’s your favourite character to cosplay and why? Harley Quinn, without a doubt. I just feel such a strong connection to her! Shes such a fun & goofy character to cosplay with some amazing costumes. Plus it give me a legitimate reason to play amazing grace on kazoo! Do you make your own costumes & do your own make up? Yes I make all of my own costumes as well as most of the props that go with them. It’s very time consuming but so very worth it in the end! I do all my own makeup too, I try to make it as accurate as possible from How long I take normally depends on what character I’m cosplaying. Most characters like Catherine or Daenerys only take me an hour to get ready but any of my Harley costumes, her original one specifically, take me around two due to the fact that I have to do full face paint, put my mask on, style my hair & finally put my costume on!
