3.3 Communication

Momentum Events kept in regular contact with all event stakeholders, building positive relationships before the event and maintaining these all the way to post-event. The team thought this process was working well due to the social media engagement levels which were reflected in the post-event survey where 70.83% of respondents rated the pre-event communication as ‘excellent’. This result however has low validity as 24/90 participants responded to the survey, giving a small sample size. These figures were much higher for the final email sent ‘final total revealed’ which received 342 views with 82.8% of recipients opening the email, way above the industry average of 16.8% (MailChimp, 2017).
