RULES? I HAVE GREEN HAIR I shut society and everyone else out...They say, “Be yourself,” but judge you when you reveal it… Hypocrites, telling a girl she’s not pretty unless you have a gap between your thighs… Or displaying anorexic girls in magazines for us to yearn to be… But do you really want to send the message to children that appearance is key… No one has the right to set this standard yet we are bound by this chain to Live up to this absurd expectation…so I am forced to stay without a voice… Waiting for my time to ask…”Who are you to tell me how to live my life?” Because in the end words do hurt like knives...but just you wait and see… I will not be scared to show my personality...one day the world will wake up and realize… It’s not just the way I look that matters...but the way I decide to use what God gave me… I will show you what true beauty really means… it’s not my makeup… Or my clothes… Or my hair… It’s what is in my heart and mind that really matters. -SABRINA YAVARI - 8TH
