Now that you’re better…
It’s a fine line, but once you’ve returned to normal speed, keep coming back to that relax mode daily. Stay slow when you can and keep stress to a minimum. Pick up habits or hobbies that help you rest daily. Yoga and meditation are great for that, but we hear about those all the time. Other things that can help are craft hobbies (like knitting, crocheting, painting, and scrapbooking), journaling, exercise, practicing gratitude, and getting organized. Declutter your house, start meal planning, or set up a schedule. Having things together can help you stay healthy in the long run.
Remember that nothing is a cure-all. You’ll likely get sick again at some point, but it’s worth it to safeguard as much as you can anyway. You never know what kind of illnesses you’ll miss by taking good care of yourself regularly. And when germs inevitably find you again, you’ll be better prepared to combat them. You’ll have your sick plan in place and recognize that slowing down to rest can help you recover in less time. Stay healthy out there!
Shine bright and choose love.
