fantastic way to participate in the event, and perhaps start a new relationship with your local bookseller, by introducing yourself through this special bookstore celebration.

As an indie author, I know first hand how hard it is to be the one-man-band; writing, working full-time, caring for my family, all while promoting one book, while writing again. No one ever said the things we love would be easy to do, no one ever said it happens in a blink of an eye. But what does work is having continued passion to move forward, to work hard and to be seen and heard.

Being present, even when not being there, showing your work, even when you’re hundreds of miles away, making your mark, without breaking the bank are just some of the things we can do as authors to allow your stores to become more visible. Get creative, get involved, cross-promote with other authors in your genre. Contact with signing hosts to send the swag of your choice to their signings, odds are they will be more than

of your choice to their signings, odds are they will be more than happy to have the gifts they receive for the readers attending their events, and even more, perhaps your books will be discovered by a whole new group of readers.

Your resources are unlimited, so my advice is don’t limit yourself.
