Dirty Dozen Questions
1. Where is the strangest place you’ve ever gotten a story idea?
✧ I don’t use the word obsessed lightly, but I’m obsessed with abandoned buildings. As soon as I see one, I immediately start fabricating stories in my mind about what went wrong and what it looks like inside and who might live there and what they do. One day I’ll have to start writing them down. So far the only books I’ve written have been about my own ridiculous life. : )
2. What is the last book you’ve loved?
✧ Perversion by T.M. Frazier! I love every single thing she’s ever written, but Perversion has this gang turf/inner city/Romeo and Juliet thing going on that I am super excited about.
3. What is your favorite TV or Netflix series?
✧ Of all time? True Blood or Sex and the City. Currently? I’ve been working so much lately that I’ve had to give up TV altogether, but when Game of Thrones comes back on, I’m gonna be jumping up and down in front of the TV in my Mother of Dragons T-shirt every Sunday night.
4. Where is your bucket list vacation spot?
✧ I have so many! Scotland is a big one, but I got invited to sign at RARE Edinburgh in 2020, so I’ll get to check that one off soon! Can’t wait!
5. Who is your favorite book boyfriend from another author?
✧ Preppy from T.M. Frazier’s King series is my all time favorite character ever. He’s so incredibly complex it takes the entire series to peel back all of his layers. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s hilarious.
6. What is your all-time favorite song or if too difficult to answer your favorite band?
✧ My all-time favorite song is Title and Registration by Death Cab for Cutie. It is an absolute work of genius.
7. What are your favorite pizza toppings?
✧ Pepperoni and black olives.
8. Who is your unicorn author?
✧ Colleen Hoover. She’s so special and magical and talented and caring and giving and funny that she practically is a unicorn.

9. What is your favorite brand of mascara?
✧ I’ve been using Loreal’s Voluminous mascara since high school, so…I guess it’s my favorite? I’m just too lazy to try a new brand. Recommendations welcome!
10. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
✧ I would stay right here in Atlanta, but take away the humidity and mosquitoes. Is that an option?
11. What song when you hear it, stays stuck in your head?
✧ Anything by Maroon 5. Gah! So catchy.
12. What’s your favorite character’s name out of all your books?
✧ I had an imaginary stripper named Sapphire Starfish in SPEED. Don’t think I’ll ever top that one.
