started to make up stuff she wanted him to do in the journal. She named it - - Super Private Journal That Ken is Never Never Allowed to Read Ever.
She saw a psychic on a girl’s trip that told her she was writing a book. She published 44 Chapters a year or two later.
In her description of her upcoming release, Suit, BB describes the biggest challenge of writing about Ken - “He's the least dramatic character I've ever met, let alone that I will ever have to write about.
The other three men in the series were reckless, tattooed maniacs. Ken is…an accountant. Who doesn't drink. And has exactly zero tattoos.
His book might literally be one sentence long: ‘And then I married an accountant and moved to the suburbs. The end.’”
I
met BB and Ken at Book Bonanza and not only are they both down to earth and relatable, but BB also has a gentle aura about her that immediately puts you at ease.
BB became an author when staying up all night with her 2nd child nursing, she began reading romance on her Kindle app. and realized she actually dated boys just like the ones in the books.
She started writing in her journal on her laptop about her past just for fun.
One night coming down the stairs after putting the kids to bed, Ken slammed her laptop shut. She realized he had been reading her journal. His behavior started to change and he became more romantic so being the psychologist she was, she started to make up stuff she wanted him to do in the journal. She named it - - Super Private Journal That Ken is Never Never Allowed to Read Ever.
