Nurse Aide Training
Joining the Nurse Aide Training Program by Manuel Rodriguez
My past experiences and my future dreams are the reasons why I decided to join the Nurse Aide Training Program. It is a long story and I want to explain a little bit.
Before I came to the United States, I wanted to be a doctor. But when I moved here, everything changed. I arrived in Puerto Rico first but it was difficult to study to be a doctor. So, I decided to become a Licensed Practical Nurse instead. Now I’ m in Washington, D. C. but it is also difficult for me to study medicine because of the language and the lifestyle. I have responsibilities and duties like my job, school, family and the routine of living a healthy life.
I have studied at Carlos Rosario School for 1 year. I am in ESL level 6 and studying Nurse Aide. It is the first step in to the health field. The health field is my passion and it is what I wanted as a child. I am grateful for Carlos Rosario School for helping me achieve my dreams. After I finish the Nurse Aide Training Program, I want to go to college and be a professional in the health area.
