Vacation 2015

By Elizangela Goldfrank

On June 8, 2015 at 10:30 am, we arrived in Brazil. We walked through the immigration and I waited for our luggage. So while I was in line, my son grabbed a cart. Finally the bags came out; he put everything in the carts and we walked in the direction of the exit.
We got out and I was looking for my cousin who was supposed to pick me up, but I couldn ' t find him. I grabbed my cellphone to call him,“ Where are you?”
He answered the phone,“ Hi I ' m here at Gate 2.” I told him that we were at Gate 1. He said,“ I will be there shortly.”
I walked five feet and I grabbed a cup of coffee while I was waiting for him. So it took a while until he got to the Gate 1. After thirty minutes, finally I saw him and he was walking in my direction. I couldn ' t recognize him until he got closer to me. I said to him,“ You put some weight on?”
He quickly answered me with a big smile and grabbed his baby belly,“ I know it has been a long time since I saw you last, but I ' m still sexy,” he said. I gave him a hug and we walked outside.
When we got closer to the exit, the door opened and I couldn ' t believe how gorgeous it was. The weather was beautiful; my cousin opened the truck and put the bags inside. I told Alex to sit in her car seat and put her seatbelt on. I told my cousin we were ready to leave--“ Let ' s go!” I said to him”. We took off in the direction of my hometown. After thirty minutes of driving, Alex fell asleep.
It took us three hours. Finally, we arrived at our destination. The house was in a private community; it was beautiful and the view was amazing. I told my friend to come out to the balcony and check out the view. We were in love with the paradise.
