Excerpt From “My Famous Challenge Year” ESL 8 By Jules Dassie It's a great school, a special place, a wonderful campus. I just wanted to start something somewhere. I never knew what is going to happen; I can't imagine what is going to be for the next step. But because I always know who I am and what I am able to do with the most little possibility I should take advantage of. My story is something great, something special to share, something beautiful to remember. Let's follow somebody's story about enrolling in two classes in one semester at Carlos Rosario Public Charter School (SG Campus).  I am student at Carlos Rosario in both CSS and ESL 8. I started with English program (ESL) last year in the spring semester (February 2015) in ESL 7. It wasn't easy; everything in the program was new. Sometimes I felt lost, sometimes I felt like I was in the wrong place because of too much works and pressure. My teacher was great, a kind of genius about teaching. She knew how to help and bring to each student the right way to feel good and motivated in class. Finally I felt different, more comfortable, and confident. For all the rest of steps I just decided to apply myself and give my total attendance. At the end of the semester everything was good, I succeeded with many progress in every single subject and improved my English a lot and wanted to do more in something peculiar.  Before we wrote the final exam (Post Test) for the end of the semester, the school administration let us learn more about what we should decide to do after succeed in ESL 7; such as Culinary Art, CSS, Nurse Assistance and others. After making in depth many searches about CSS (Computer Support Specialist), I decided to apply to enroll this program. I had to work more because to enroll this program I needed to end with success my ESL 7 and had to take a test in computer literacy, then have an interview with the director of the Technology Academy. Finally I succeeded in ESL 7, was promoted to ESL and was admitted to the CSS program... In Our Own Words 2016 29
