I wanted to be with her and I love what she did for me. Also I didn’t forget her name. Her name is Meseret. y dream is to become a nurse. My family and teachers ask me, “What do you want to be in the future?” I said, “Nurse.” “Do you like science?” “Yes.” They said, “Be strong and study science.” From that time until now I want to be a nurse in my homeland. I didn’t get the opportunity to study to be a nurse but here I studied home health aide. And I want continue to study nursing. Every day people must fight to become true their dreams. Dreams in our lives don’t have a purpose and civil rights can help us to make our dreams come true. A good example of this is Martin Luther King. He did not need weapons to make his dream come true, only civil rights and his voice. M y dreams. I came to this country because I have a dream too. My dream is to learn English, go to college to be a chef and have my own business, and help my family and other people that need me. I can do it! I have civil rights and I will use them to make my dreams come true. 9 by Luis Lopez ENGLISH LEVEL 2 Teacher: Rebecca Lee I have a dream that one day… Yo tengo un sueño que algun día que… Todas las personas que habitan en este gran país tengan las mismas oportunidades.
