My Crossroads
On July 06, 2012 my family arrived in the US,
it’s the first time that I can see a very beautiful and
clean country. People are so friendly and open.
My family has 4 members: me, my wife and my
son and daughter. The first day in the US we still
have a language barrier and I have no confidence
to talk to other people because I don’t speak the
language. So I have to come to Carlos Rosario to
register for ESL and I am so lucky to be accepted.
The first day in class, I didn’t understand a word
but with the kind assistance of the teacher. I have
improved my English and I promise to myself that I
will study hard. It’s a new step in my life.
