Vocabulary whom he shared good times. He visited lovely places which were similar to his country. He was thrilled to travel by boat on the sea. Grandfather was fitted to the American culture quickly. In fact he created his family here. His experience was lovely and enviable. My experience has been acceptable. In the first year I was here, it was like Mamacita’s experience. I felt very desperate. I couldn’t adapt to living here, because I missed my family and my own town a lot. Also it was because I didn’t speak English. But I didn’t refuse to learn English. On the contrary, I set out to learn English. I longed to change my life condition. After I started to speak English my job changed. I commenced to have more contact with American people. So it was effortless to talk to people. Exchanging conversations with people I got knowledge of American life that helped me to assimilate to the American culture. In general, an immigrant’s life is unsettling. Each person has a different experience. It depends where you come from. Another important thing is the way that people come here and what kind of opportunities they find. The most important reason that people come here is for the necessity of earning some money to help their family. Other people just want to have an adventure in this country. They only want to explore everything around the U.S. In the end immigrant people are similar, but everybody opts for different things and everyone has a different fate.
