As the literacy programme is CPD-focused, it links closely to the SUN CPD programme, which seeks to address the following problem via the theory of change:“ Challenges to HE participation for young people, specifically under-represented groups, mean that education professionals who have direct contact with young people need to engage with continuing professional development to ensure their practice is inclusive. Professional development has been proven to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in secondary schools and post-16 settings.”
