second album Land of Pleasure – any
tales from past gigs here?
Last time we were on the Gold Coast we
played the Cooly Hotel. It was great for us
– we set a bar record apparently. It was
flying off the walls. We can’t take all the
credit though – it was Quiky Pro weekend
and there was actually a bunch of pro
surfers having a rad time and it was a
really wild show.
Since we’re a surfing mag that’s a good
answer.
Yeah cool. Well I actually did an interview
before where we asked for the difference
between touring Europe and touring
Australia and in Europe we can actually
get away with pretending that we’re like
pro surfers and shit whereas in Australia
we’re just like fuckin everyone.
Being an Aussie you still have just that little
bit of interest in surfing anyway by default?
