hat makes the lefts more vicious than the rights on the island remains
a mystery, but it’s something to consider next time you split a peak
with someone and it starts to horseshoe in front of you. Breaking more
boards than any other wave on the coast, it’s a wonder more spines haven’t
followed - not to say there hasn’t been a fair share of broken bones over
the years. Isolated and away from medical help, a split second decision
here can grant you an unbelievably filthy pit - or a painful tumbling into
the compact sand bottom. Over 6 feet? TOS can quickly become a very
serious place.
