You’ve been known to hit Hawaii from time
to time. How’s it stack up for longboarding
compared to home?
“It’s like West Oz but without wetsuits, pretty
similar in power but probably a little bit more
power in some areas. Each of the islands are
also obviously different to each other in ways,
but yeah I really enjoy it. There’s a few famous
point breaks I really enjoy to go to, they’re
great for longboarding, and shortboarding,
and it’s just a lot of fun. I like the etiquette
that goes along with it there in the water
and the hierarchy there, it really suits what I
enjoy and it works, it’s good to watch. I also
find that in Hawaii you get respect no matter
what you’re riding, as long as you’re riding
