e threw a few photos of Craig out on the LiQUiFY HQ table
and as we sorted them we realised there were so many shots it
was time to get this fella’s surfing featured in the mag - no easy task
when you have to cull it back to a handful of pics. A rattle and jingle
on the telegraph line and we had Craig, working hard at it on a site
in Brisbane - we hit him up for a quick chat.
You ride just about anything mate, but you’ve got a real knack for the
bigger equipment, so why the love of longboards?
“I just have fun on longboards. I started on a mid-length longboard and
just enjoyed it, I guess it sort of suited the approach that I had and I don’t
know ... it just worked for me. I had a lot of fun, and you know when you’re
having fun, you tend to keep doing it.”
Being a Gold Coaster and growing up here, what’s the secret to
finding waves to yourself?
“I think it helps to know the spots well, know the people who surf those
spots as well. I think that you have to watch what other people are doing,
