So your band is in it for the long run? I don’t know, I like lots of things other than music – I’m sure one day I’ll want to do something else as well as music but I think we’ve got so much to experiment with and the four of us love writing music and stuff and it will be good to be able to do it for as long as you want, you know? It took a couple of years to bring out your debut album – are you already writing the next one? I think we’ll put out the next one when we’re ready – we won’t put out anything we don’t like just to keep to some sort of schedule but I know we’re going to push ourselves a little bit because we want to put more music out there – it’s fun and we did the long wait for everything to come together for the first album, but we haven’t written any songs yet, no. How long are you in Brisbane – are you off home soon or on another tour to promote your new album? Yeah, we are going to America for a little bit and do some radio festivals things there and then we are playing Summer Sonic in Japan – I’ve never been so I’m excited – and then we’ve got a headline tour in the UK which is the biggest tour we’ve ever done really so it’s going to be really scary but good and then yeah, we’ll see what happens … Did you get a chance to explore Byron while you were there? I had a dip in the sea and it was nice. Last time when we came to Australia I was pretty fearful of the sharks but this time I don’t know, it sounds stupid but I couldn’t be bothered worrying (laughs). I know you probably don’t get much surf in Camden which is where you guys hail from, but have you ever had a surf?
