A bloody Brisbane legend, Mick Medew from Screaming Tribesmen
days gone by led his band through the staples that earnt him the
honour of being awarded the Grant McLennan Lifetime Achievement
Award by Queensland’s peak music organisation, QMusic, back in
March at the Queensland Music Awards. Easy to see why – his voice
still has that unique indie tone that claims every song as his own.
