Not What I Signed Up For: Finding the Strength, Purpose, and Faith to Get through a Season You Didn’t Expect with Nicole Unice
”Life can throw us off-kilter. Maybe you’ve found yourself in a season that you never would have expected. In this six-session study based on the book Not What I Signed Up For, Bible teacher Nicole Unice invites you into the biblical story of Joseph―a man who lived an unexpected life and trusted God through it all. Grow in understanding God’s faithfulness even through your trials, know his love right in the middle of your suffering, and stand firm on his trust even when things remain paralyzingly uncertain.”
What Is a Christian? with Francis Chan
“Ask any group what it means to be a Christian, and we will hear different answers. But what unifies us? What are the basic characteristics of our faith that every Christian affirms? In this six-session series, Francis Chan will lead us in an exploration of key concepts common to all Christians through the centuries. No matter what divides us, we are united by these truths about the God we worship and our relationship with him.”
Stories from the Storyteller - Season 2 with Jonathan Evans

CORNERSTONE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
If you are a Cornerstone parent or teacher, have your children enjoyed using the new computers in the computer lab? Did they enjoy last year’s student enrichment activities of a new inflatable GaGa Ball pit, traveling science center assembly, and inflatable obstacle course? These represent a few of the grants given to CCS over the past year by Cornerstone Educational Support, Inc. (CES), a 501(c)(3) established to help support our school. Additionally, CES will soon be announcing a CCS alumni grant opportunity! If you are a CCS alum, be on the lookout for their forthcoming communication.
Their most recent accomplishment was earning a Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency! Check out their nonprofit profile to stay current with their impact and to have ready access to information that helps you know you can confidently support and trust their work.
You can learn more at their website. CES will also have a ministry expo table at the upcoming WIHS 104.9 Christian radio banquet. Stop by and say hello if you plan to attend the banquet!
The CES board members continue to pray for wisdom on how to effectively seek givers who give and who are like-minded with their mission of supporting The Cornerstone Christian School. CES continues to seek ways to fulfill their vision of helping our school build a stronger today and tomorrow because they dared to dream big about helping us grow from surviving to thriving!
