WHO is the PTFA? WHAT is the PTFA?
The PTFA is YOU – The Parents, Teachers, Friends Association of Cornerstone! This includes all those who love our school and love our students! The PTFA is a group of volunteers who focus on providing Parent Connection, Teacher Support, and Funds for Enrichment – All for our Students and to God’s Glory!

PARENT CONNECTION
The PTFA serves as a conduit for Parent Connection. Creating a sense of community is one of our main goals this year. We want to create a connection with P+, the parents, grandparents and other adults involved in raising our CCS students! We have several new fellowship opportunities planned for this year! We are planning to emphasize small and impromptu connections, such as play dates, walking groups, and prayer times. We invite you to join our private Facebook page, Cornerstone Family Connection, to connect with us!
FUNDS FOR ENRICHMENT
When you think of PTFA, you may think of fundraisers, and you would not be wrong! The PTFA conducts several fundraisers each year. These fundraisers are optional for parent participation (not included in the annual fundraising expectations of the school), but they fund important enrichment programs at the school, such as:
• A FREE Theme Shirt for Each Student & Staff
• SchoolMessenger Annual Subscription
• Scholarship Opportunity for Graduating Seniors
• Middle School Spiritual Emphasis Week
• Projects & Classrom Enrichment Opportunities
TEACHER SUPPORT
At CCS we LOVE our teachers and all the Cornerstone staff! The PTFA looks for ways to bless and support our teachers throughout the year. We organize breakfasts and snacks during fall orientation, Christmas gift lists at Christmas, Teacher Appreciation Week surprises, and an end of the year luncheon.
This commitment takes funds and volunteer support, so be sure to watch for ways that you can help us put the T in PTFA!
GET INVOLVED
The PTFA hosts quarterly general meetings. Plan to join us to hear what is going on, share your ideas, and find out how you can get involved! The first meeting will be held on Thursday, 9/14, at 5:30 PM in the Art Room of the McLain Building.
We are also looking for a few volunteers who are interested in getting involved by taking on, or co-chairing, any one of our events or fundraisers (such as, the Craft & Vendor Fair, Pies & More, and Butterbraids Sale). If you would like to learn more, contact Jon Railoa or Nicole Foote at [email protected].
In order to help us continue to provide these programs, and to raise funds for new projects, please plan to support our PTFA fundraisers this year.
• Pies & More (Happening Soon!)
• PTFA Craft & Vendor Fair

• Elementary Christmas Store
