Meet & Greets and Back-to-School Nights

It was great to be able to resume our traditional Elementary Meet & Greet and Back-to-School Nights for both the elementary and McLain buildings! We missed being able to invite everyone to attend last year. We were amazed to see in person how many new families we have with us this year when we began the elementary Back-to-School Night with a show of hands from our new families. We are welcoming 71 new students this year! We warmly welcome our returning and new students to the 2021-2022 school year!

Cornerstone subscribes to RightNow Media for the professional development that it provides for our teachers, as they meet certification requirements to actively work on earning Bible CEUs. We are blessed to be able to extend user privileges to our school families and friends.

Even though COVID restrictions and inclement weather tried to put a damper on our first day of school celebration, we rose up against those challenges and began our school year with gusto!  We are so excited to discover what God has in store for CCS as we continue running full steam ahead into our 2021-2022 school year.

Thank you to all the CCS families, friends, and faculty/staff who joined us on Friday, September 3rd, for our Back-to-School Bash and 40th Birthday Celebration! After a long drought of family-oriented gatherings throughout 2020 and into 2021, our celebration was a welcome breath of fresh air. It was such a blessing to see children of all ages enthusiastically enjoying our festivities of mini carnival games, canvas bag and card decorating for The Bridge, and ice cream social. We are so grateful to Fish Family Farm Creamery in Bolton and Dunkin' on Center Street in Manchester for their generous

contributions of food items for our ice cream social.

We are also thankful to everyone who brought items for our food drive for MACC in Manchester and

personal care items drive for The Bridge in South Windsor.

Mr. Main delivered to MACC the food drive items, which were greatly appreciated. Mrs. Choleva delivered the personal care items to The Bridge. The joy-filled remarks from clients of The Bridge touched her heart as they gratefully received the bags, cards, and personal care items. As disciples of Christ, it is humbling when we are able to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus. We also look forward to serving Jesus by serving others throughout our upcoming Feed the Need fundraising campaign.
