Post-high school planning is coming into focus for the Class of 2024 as our Secondary Principal, Mrs. Press, is responsible for assisting our high school students in planning for their next steps after high school graduation. Through Schoology, each class has access to important links and resources including interest surveys, college search sites, scholarship search sites, and even dual enrollment opportunities.
Mrs. Press is also working to provide our students with additional opportunities, such as attending the recent Christian College Fair in October.
Additionally, she will be hosting important informational meetings for students and parents each spring.

A TRIP INTO HISTORY
The Grade 11 US History & Gov't I class took the annual trip to Boston to walk the Freedom Trail. This year Grade 12 joined them as a delayed trip due to last year’s COVID restrictions.
The students walked the Freedom Trail and visited the burial places of several presidents, as well as some presidential homes. “It was neat to stand in John Qunicy Adam’s library and realize that we were surrounded by books he had actually read" (Sarah, Gr. 11). Becca (Gr. 11) said, “Visiting places that we had learned about in class really brought history to life.”
The trip wasn’t all work and no play! The students enjoyed a visit to Faniel Hall, dined out at Fire and Ice, and viewed the Blue Man Group. “It was an experience I won’t forget” (Mae, Gr.11). Students also got a taste of campus life as they toured Eastern Nazarene College, slept in the dorms, and ate at the cafeteria.
