myself. By meditating and praying before the day, I’ve begun listening to my surrounding. This has helped channel my inner thoughts to look upon art as a safe place to imagine. Therefore, my peace is found when I’m able to touch a pen to paper. Silence became a virtue in my life at a young age. Being quiet around people was just something I did. In contrast, silence in art comes from the inner peace inside. When I can find the peace, I can find the silence inside my mind. Furthermore, this helps me create the images inside my head that lay out the foundation of my artwork. Images come to my mind when I begin finding the peace and silence of my surroundings. When I find the images, I let it sit there for a minute, ponder upon the experiences and begin writing it down on paper. The paper begins feeling light. Letting my imagination wander around as I channel my energy. I find it enlightening when I’m able to find the end goal. Hence, nothing feels better than being able to tell the image to the next fellow that comes in my day. Therefore, art today has been something I’ve recently been able to channel. Without the peace I have today, I’d be followed around by the negative energy of my surroundings. Simply by taking the words from others and defining them in my own words, I’m able to create the images that come to my mind. Therefore, the imagination becomes glistering to my mind.
