Need Registration Certificates ?
Do you need registration certificates for an upcoming show , a show validation , or any other purpose ? NALF staff is happy to send the registration certificates to you . Please submit your request to the NALF office at least two weeks prior to the event in order to make sure they reach you on time . Requests may be made to Stephanie at steph @ NALF . org .
Rush Orders on Registrations and Transfers
When mailing in rush registrations and transfers , please print RUSH on the outside of the envelope and when emailing please put RUSH in the subject line . Since the busy time of year is upon us in the NALF office , this will help to make sure your work gets processed immediately . The $ 25 rush fee for each certificate , noted on the selfbilling worksheet , is in effect as of now . There are no rush orders available on lab work and ET calves .
Order Your Show Vest Today
If you have not yet ordered your Limousin soft shell show vest , do so today . The show vests are a black soft shell with the Limousin logo on the chest . You may order using the form found under the Shows tab at NALF . org or by contacting Stephanie at Steph @ NALF . org .
Vests must be worn in the show ring at all Level I MOE shows .

NALF Office Closed
The North American Limousin Foundation office will be closed select days over the upcoming holiday season . Please take note the office will be closed Thursday , November 25 and Friday , November 26 for Thanksgiving and Friday , December 24 and Saturday , December 25 for Christmas . As well , the office will be closed Friday , December 31 for New Year ’ s . The office will be open for regular hours of 7:30 a . m . to 4:00 p . m . MST Monday , November 29 ; December 27- 30 , and then again on Monday , January 3 .
DNA and Registration

Join us in Houston for the 2022 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show
Registration and lodging for the 2022 Cattle Industry Convention and National Cattleman ’ s Beef Association Trade Show opens Monday , October 18 . The annual convention will be held in Houston , Texas , February 1-3 , 2022 . Convention participants will hear from industry leaders and gather insight on industry trends .
NALF Board Decides on 2022 Events Pertaining to the Cattlemen ’ s Congress and National Western
The NALF board met to decide on the breeds attendance and events at the 2022 Cattlemen ’ s Congress and National Western Stock Show ( NWSS ). After reviewing exhibitor surveys , attendance levels , income for Genetics on Ice and the National Sale , the board has determined that NALF will conduct its annual events , shows and activities at the 2022 Cattlemen ’ s Congress in Oklahoma City , Oklahoma . This will include the annual meeting for NALF , Genetics on Ice Banquet , National Sale , along with a Level I MOE show , junior show and pen show in Oklahoma .
The following week , NALF will also conduct a Level II MOE show at NWSS along with a junior show on the hill . In addition , NALF will conduct a pen and carload show at the 2022 NWSS .
Candidates Set for the NALF Board of Directors Election
The NALF nominating committee has slated the candidates for the 2022 board of directors ’ election . The election will be held during the NALF annual membership meeting on Monday , January 3 , in conjunction with Cattlemen ’ s Congress . The following individual has been slated by the nominating committee :
Lance Sennett , Indiana ( first term )
Lance Sennett of Waynetown , Indiana , and his family own and operate Sennett Cattle . Sennett Cattle is a 300 cow / calf operation made up of commercial and purebred cattle . Sennett Cattle also proudly raises breeding stock which are backed with an elite set of donor cows consisting of Lim-Flex , Angus , Simmental , Maine-Anjou and Chianina females . Lance and family also feed out about 2,000 head per year in a feedlot that was designed by Lance himself . Sennett Cattle was awarded the Environmental Stewardship Award in 2008 . The fourth-generation farmer also has a grain operation . continued on page 20
