“ The cattle industry , of course , is challenging at times . That ’ s what makes it interesting ,” Bob explains . “ We meet the changes that come down the pike . The cattle industry has its ups and downs , but that ’ s part of it .”
No matter what the future brings , Bob knows he will always call the cattle industry home . He plans to continue providing good breeding stock for his customers and consistently working to improve the genetics on his home operation .
“ It ’ s been a good ride , and we have certainly enjoyed it ,” Bob said . “ My heart is in the cattle business and the purebred business . That ’ s why it ’ s what I ’ ve done basically all my life .”
Coni describes her father as meticulous , saying he has an eye for detail when it comes to his cattle , a trait he is passing along to several of his grandchildren .
