Several of their early bulls came from Worrell Land & Cattle of Charlottesville , Virginia , and Cane Ridge Cattle Co . of Paris , Kentucky . Today , they purchase most of their bulls from Wulf Cattle in Morris , Minnesota .
“ The quality of cattle is just unbelievably different today ,” Phelps reflected . “ The quality and variety of genetics that anyone can choose from today is impressive , compared to what we started out with .” Phelps also explained how truly enjoyable it has been watching the change and improvement in genetics over the years .
In addition to their purebred Limousin herd , the partnership also farms approximately 1800 acres of corn , soybeans , wheat , triticale and hay . O ’ Connor Farms Limousin is known for producing Limousin seedstock that yield well and perform as well as any . Phelps also owns
