Shows
Recognizing Limousin
and Lim-Flex Cattle
The National Medal of Excellence (MOE)
program strives to provide recognition on the
regional and national level to bulls and females
exhibited in designated MOE shows. The program
also recognizes the sires and dams of cattle
presented in show rings across the country.
In addition to providing recognition to cattle
and their producers, the MOE program provides
governing structure for MOE Level I and II shows.
The 2019 MOE season runs on a calendar
basis, beginning in January with the
National Western Stock Show in Denver
and ending December 31, 2019.
State and regional Limousin associations may
petition NALF for approval of MOE shows in their
state or area. The sponsoring state or regional
association will be held responsible for checking
in cattle at the show and reporting results
(including registration numbers) to NALF.
