Missouri Philly Cheese Steak
Sloppy Joes Sliders
Ingredients:
+ + 1 lb. ground lean Limousin beef
+ + 2 tbsp. of butter
+ + 1 small yellow onion diced
+ + 1 small green bell pepper diced
+ + 8 ounces of brown mushrooms minced
+ + ¼ tsp. garlic powder
+ + ½ tsp. of black pepper
+ + 1 tsp. of Kosher salt
+ + 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
+ + ¾ c. of beef broth
+ + 1 tbsp. cornstarch
+ + 8 ounces of provolone cheese slices
+ + Package of sweet Hawaiian slider roles
Instructions:
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Crumble the
ground beef and season with salt and pepper
and then cook until browned. Remove from pan
and set aside.
2. Add butter to pan. Once melted, add onion
and green pepper and sauté until onions are
translucent. In a small cup, mix the beef broth
and cornstarch together.
3. Return ground beef to pan. Add garlic powder,
Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth, stirring to
combine.
4. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for a few
minutes to develop a broth. Cover meat mixture
with cheese slices and allow to set for 1-2
minutes or until melted. Remove from heat,
spoon onto rolls and serve immediately.
