Herdmanship Award
Throughout the week, a
group of veteran showmen
and women have roamed
the barns and judged each
state on its herdsmanship
practices. States were judged
on the display of their cattle, the
cleanliness of their aisles and
tack and the care of their cattle.
States were broken into two
categories based off of animals
checked in with large states
having more than 11 head
and small states having less.
The champion states in this
year’s herdmanship contest
who will receive priority
stalling and check-in at next
year’s National Junior Show.

Sweepstakes Competition
The sweepstakes competition is
the most cumulative competition
of the week. It factors in not
only performance in the
show ring but participation
and performance in all the
satellite events and activities
throughout the week. Winners
in this contest have been active
and seen success through out
the week. The North American
Limousin Junior Association
would like to thank Ochsner
Limousin for sponsoring this
year’s sweepstakes competition.
The State Sweepstakes winners
