Executive Summary
email. Tonya will also assist with NALF’s Breed Improvement
Committee and attend all NALF board meetings. We are
excited to have her on board with the NALF team!
NCBE will offer additional and exciting platforms for NALF
breeders to utilize in their marketing programs. NCBE is
currently in the production phase of a NALF app for mobile
devices. Sectional items for NALF news, national agricultural
news feeds, NALJA news, weather, and markets will be
available on this app. More importantly, breeders will be
able to purchase attractive advertising slots that will send
push notifications prior to your sales where customers can
view your sale catalogs, videos, and consignments. There
will also be direct links to the NALF-DigitalBeef registry
platform, among many other features with upgraded
services and advertising opportunities for breeders.
NALF will also be restructuring the circulation format of its
three tabloid editions of LIMOUSIN TODAY. NALF will be
sending out 20,000 printed copies of the tabloid edition three
times annually, but this circulation will be supplemented
digitally to 15,000 email subscribers as soon as the print
edition is mailed out. This digital link will take viewers to the
NALF website where the magazine will be readable online.

This digital viewership will be made possible by the utilization
of NCBE’s list of nearly 11,000 opted in email addresses of
commercial ranches and seedstock producers, plus NALF’s
email list. This targeted audience should be a valuable
advertising tool for our breeders to take advantage of right
now to increase their customer base. NALF members will
also be able to take advantage of this marketing tool when
ordering eblast for their production and private treaty sales.
Contact the NALF office for further information and details.
The NALF headquarters office will continue operations for
membership, registry, and DNA services. Alison Jones will be
taking over the duties of Brittany Barrick in DNA services. NALF
will be hiring a replacement for Alison’s duties in membership,
accounting, and billing, who will also work with her in DNA
services. We wish Brittany Barrick the best as she moves into
her new role and opportunity with Eurofins, a genetic testing
company for many species of livestock. Brittany has been
instrumental in the development of DNA testing services and
the total restructure of the LIMS whole herd reporting program
at NALF. Long time and valued employee, Stephanie Kramer-
Beddo, will continue as NALF’s registry and member service
specialist. Katie Campbell will continue as NALF’s director
of activities and will be the main contact and oversight of
the upcoming ILC Congress during July 2018 in Colorado.
These structural changes are not being taken haphazardly.
The NALF Board has been analyzing and evaluating these
changes to not only operate more efficiently, but also to
improve and upgrade member services to all our membership.
We look forward to the new platforms and are excited about
the expanded marketing opportunities and services this
will create for our breeders. At the end of the day, we need
