We are All Limousin

Welcome to the October 2017 edition of LIMOUSIN TODAY ®. I hope this finds each of you having a great fall.
As you have heard, we have made some changes at the North American Limousin Foundation. Change is never easy, but it is a constant in life. Nothing stays the same. As times goes on and circumstances arise, adjustments must be made. We have had so many successes during the past almost half century and our breed and association has been blessed in so many ways, we have much to be thankful for. I’ m not going to get specific with all the adjustments, but I will say that the NALF Board of Directors is committed to living within our means, while promoting the breed nationwide as we always have. The mission of NALF has not and will not change. We have a very capable staff who knows we are a service organization and we work for you, the membership. They also believe in our cattle and in our breeders. I am NOT just writing these words; the board and staff believe the best days for the Limousin breed are in the future. The cattle keep getting better and better, and you, the breeders, are to be commended. We have a lot to look forward to. Now is the time to join forces, come together, and work in unison as a breed, from north, south, east, or west, large or small herd, show or commercial, fullblood, purebred, or Lim-Flex. We are ALL LIMOUSIN.
