NALF Office has Moved missed as the regional manager for Limousin Today
throughout the Eastern United States and Texas.
The NALF office is moving to a new location and
will be closed on Friday, March 1. Normal office
hours will resume Monday through Friday on
Monday, March 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. MST. Moving forward this Spring, members in those
areas should contact Mallory Blunier, NALF
director of PR & media, for their advertising
needs at [email protected] or 303-
220-1693 Ext. 61. Nathan will continue to be
at a few sales this spring, through March and
April, as NALF searches for a replacement, but
advertising needs for the Eastern region can
be acquired by contacting Mallory directly.
The new office address is: 6205 South
Main St., Suite 280D, Aurora, CO 80016.
NALF Attends NCBA 2019
The 2019 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA
Trade Show was held January 30 - February
1 in New Orleans, La. This year’s conventions
and trade show was attended by more than
9,000 members across the United States
over the 3-day meetings and events.
The North American Limousin Foundation
was in attendance at the National Cattlemen’s
Meeting and Convention in New Orleans, La.
promoting and discussing Limousin genetics
with commercial cattlemen. NALF representatives
including Executive Director Mark Anderson, and
Director of Activities Katie Campbell attended
the event. Also in attendance with NALF staff
was the President of NALJA, Randa Taylor, who
assisted staff manning the booth throughout
the trade show and visiting with attendees.
We wish Nathan well in his future endeavors.
Peterson Family Honored at 2019 Black Hills Stock
Show
Rod and Wendy Peterson of Peterson’s L7 Bar
Limousin, Pukwana, S.D., were honored as the
2019 Stockman of the Year at the Black Hills
Stock Show in Rapid City, S.D. The Petersons have
been active in the Limousin business since the
early 1970’s and celebrated their 40th annual
production sale in 2018. They have exhibited
numerous champions at major livestock shows
including the National Western Stock Show, Black
Hills Stock Show and the South Dakota State
Fair. All three of their sons and their families are
also actively involved in the Limousin. I
As a member of International Genetic Solutions,
NALF was represented through the IGS booth
display along with the American Simmental
Association and American Gelbvieh Association.
NALF Says Goodbye to Nathan Smith
NALF would like to wish Nathan Smith well with his
career move to GeneSeek/Neogen as a territorial
representative for their lab and DNA testing
services based out of Lincoln, Neb. Nathan will be
