Spring Reflections

As I write this in early April, the
spring sale season is winding
down. While I still have a
handful of very good bull sales
left, it’s not too early to draw
some conclusions to what I’ve
seen at sales across my territory.
Demand has been steady this
spring. It’s obvious that calving
ease is of utmost importance to
many commercial cattlemen.
Bulls that have higher CED
EPD’s, coupled with a lower
birth weight EPD are in demand.
