As you enter the large front courtyard, your first glimpse is of Iron Baby which draws you into the Antony Gormley Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Art. A magical walk, led by lines of steel like breadcrumbs to Hansel and Gretel, invited you to get inside Antony Gormley’s head and experience his amazing creativity.

Mother’s Pride alludes to a brand of commercially produced sliced bread. Antony had to carefully eat his way through hundreds of slices of bread in order to create the several versions of the void of the human figure. (Ciick the link below to see how it was made.)
