Seeds of Mother Earth II by Stavros Kotsireas

Contemplation in Lockdown by Jonathan Hateley

This year will be the third year that Denise and I have worked together at The Savill Garden as Designer and Manager, respectively. But in the first year we became an inseparable double act and our modus operandi of confident flannelling became established.

We are now excited to be starting to plan into our third year and feel that the time has come to start training up others to make sure that this special place continues to showcase our work.

Into the frame comes Surrey Sculpture Society’s mentoring/trainee scheme for those who think they’d like to find out more about managing or designing an exhibition but without having to take a leap into the unknown.

So, we are happy to say that working with us this year on the design side is Dawn Conn, and on the management side is Victoria Hunt. We are so lucky to have them on board. You will all have seen their wonderful work.

For those of you who have not yet visited the Savill Garden we would like to point out the following: This is a really exquisite and tranquil place to walk around and see the whole Exhibition (around 65 pieces); parking is easy; there is a restaurant and coffee shop (COVID regulations permitting); there are gorgeous walks round Windsor Great Park straight from your car. Who can resist?

We look forward to seeing you all at “Art in the Garden 2021”.
