POLICIES & PROCEDURES MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS OFFICE & GALLERY HOURS: Be a part of the Lillstreet Community by becoming a member today. You will join a supportive and friendly art community and have access to all the great benefits listed below: MONDAY-THURSDAY: 10AM-7:30 PM FRIDAY & SATURDAY: 10AM-6PM SUNDAY: 10AM-5PM REGISTER EARLY! CLASSES FILL QUICKLY. We strongly encourage you to preregister to ensure a space in class. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with a 50% deposit required. Workshops must be paid in full at time of registration. Balance is due on the first day of class. Lillstreet accepts payments by VISA, Master Card, American Express or Discover. Checks should be made payable to Lillstreet Art Center. Artist Membership: $40/year • Discounts on classes and workshops • VIP membership card • Discounts at participating art supply stores and other community services • Free gift • 10% off of gallery purchases HOLIDAYS AND MISSED CLASSES For classes that fall on holidays, it is up to individual teachers and students to decide whether to hold the class or to schedule a make up class later in the session. Missed classes may only be made up within the same class session. Household Membership: $75/year (for 2 people) Receive all the benefits of an Artist Membership plus: • Attend an available workshop and receive a 2-for-1 offer (one per year) TOOLS AND MATERIALS Students may be required to purchase a tool kit from Lillstreet, or other materials in order to complete class work. Unless otherwise specified, materials will be provided for the first class session and students will receive a supply list for purchase. • Members’ price on children’s camps (for 2 people) Family Membership: $110/year (for 3 or more people) Receive all of the benefits above plus: CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS • One free family workshop per year, subject to availability PLEASE READ CAREFULLY • Member’s price on children’s camps (entire family) CANCELLATIONS Classes are canceled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Students will be notified if classes are canceled and will be eligible for a full refund or class credit. Tuition credits are good indefinitely toward any classes, workshops or gallery items and are not redeemable for cash under any circumstances. PRIVATE LESSONS Would you prefer individualized instruction over a classroom situation? Is there a specific technique you’ve always wanted to learn, but don’t have the time to commit to a 10 week class? If this is what you’ve been looking for we have some options for you to choose from. REFUND POLICY FOR DROPPED CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS • A two-hour minimum commitment is required. • Your customized lesson can be for one person, two or three. • No previous experience necessary. • Private classes can be set up in any of our departments. • Your lesson includes open studio time on the day of your lesson only; it does not include open studio for the week. Pricing structure: $75 per hour for one-on-one instruction $60 per hour, per student for two Tuition is refundable for all classes and workshops dropped more than one week prior to the session start date, minus a $40 processing fee. Classes dropped during the week prior to the start of the class session are eligible for a studio credit only (no refunds). Classes dropped during the first week of the session are eligible for a 50% studio credit (no refund). Classes dropped after the first week of the session are not eligible for a credit or refund except in cases of documented medical emergency with physician’s note. Students are responsible for notifying the Lillstreet staff that they wish to drop a class or workshop. Not attending class does not constitute an official withdrawal or cancellation of tuition or fees. Creative Retreats and Visiting Artist Workshops have separate cancellation policies.
