CRASH COURSE IN PHOTOSHOP
(1 DAY)
Learn the essentials of working
with Photoshop. Start by learning
the workspace and tools including
brushes, paint, and flow. Next, edit
imagery on screen with adjustments
such as levels, curves, hue/
saturation and selectively apply those
adjustments. Composite different
image elements together and conclude
with a lesson on printing. Students
should bring a flash drive with 5-10
images to edit. Basic computer skills
required.

Illustrator is an indispensable
software for graphic artists to create
designs. This course will teach you
about vector-based graphics, to create

photographic matting techniques,
along with contemporary dry/adhesive
mounting, print preservation and

Learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator
by designing your own business cards.
This introductory course covers the
tools necessary to get you comfortable
with organizing text in Illustrator.
We will discuss business card layout,
typographical considerations and basic
logo design. Leave with business cards
you will be proud to give away and not
just use for free lunches anymore.

photographic prints. Students will
focus on developing editing skills for
the purpose of creating high resolution
and tonally accurate images.
Experimentation regarding paper

order to enhance the images overall
presentation.
