Like I said earlier, he was very involved with his children. When his kids had homework he was the guy to help, being that he graduated with an engineering degree he knew much about math and science. The other subjects on the other hand were a bit shifty. From his child Shannon, sometimes his only seemed to make the homework more complicated; and more than once did she cry in frustration at the inability to understand what he was saying. Although there was a time when he showed her a live demonstration of how to add and subtract negative numbers by moving her body along an imaginary number line and turning around (180 degrees) every time the sign changed. She was so thrilled to really know how to do the math! He was actually his high schools valedictorian. John Gibbons, Jack’s son inherited a great skill from his father. He inherited mechanical engineering and now, like his father works on cars all the time at his own shop, where he is the boss of everything (See I told you it was a great skill that he inherited.) Before Jack worked on cars he worked on computers. He needed help from his wondrous children sometimes, especially when bleeding the breaks. He wasn’t especially conversational with the kids until they were older; so his kids would always enjoy it when he asked for help; which is a characte ɥ
