Sir Isaac Newton
saac Newton argued
that the geometric nature of reflection and refraction of light could only be explained if light was made of particles, referred to as corpuscles, because waves do not tend to travel in straight lines. he proved this theory by lining up multiple walls and having a pinhole in each one, all in a line, when he aimed his laser through the holes it reached the other end, thus, traveling in straight lines. A property of Particle theory.

Later through history they came up with the electron microscope it is a type of microscope that uses a beam of electrons to create an image of the specimen. It is capable of much higher magnifications and has a greater resolving power than a light microscope, allowing it to see much smaller objects in finer detail. This was used to try to prove the particle theory.
